Three things this does not do, before anything it does
Every product in this category advertises the same outcome. They differ entirely in what they are willing to touch, and that difference is usually buried.

The three
- Connect to your bank — there is no bank login and no account access
- Cancel subscriptions for you — you cancel yourself, with instructions
- Negotiate prices or claim refunds on your behalf
If any of those three is the thing you wanted, this is the wrong product and it is better to know now. Tools that connect to accounts and act on your behalf exist; they ask for a great deal more access, and that is the trade they are offering.
What is left
A narrower job, done without asking for anything that can be abused later.
What it does instead
- Reads a screenshot of your banking app, App Store, Google Play, PayPal or an e-mail receipt
- Lists every recurring charge it finds, with the service, price and billing cycle
- Adds up what the list costs you per month and per year
And the part that runs afterwards
Ongoing
- Sends a reminder 1–3 days before each charge it has a date for, by e-mail and push
- Warns you before a free trial turns into a paid plan
- Gives step-by-step cancel instructions for each service, with a help chat for questions
Read the reminder line carefully: a charge with no known date gets no reminder, which is why the app asks you for the date rather than inventing one.
